Gestern Abend hat Microsoft damit bekonnen, Einladungen zur geschlossenen Beta von Microsoft Office 2011 für Mac zu versenden. Solltet Ihr eine erhalten haben, so könnt Ihr die Programme herunterladen und Microsoft Office 2011 für Mac testen sowie alles an Microsoft senden, was Euch auffällt.
In der Mail stehen allerdings einige Bedingungen, die während der gesamten Beta-Periode gelten. So steht zum Beispiel alles unter einer NDA (Geheimhaltungsabkommen), sodass man nicht nach eigenem Ermessen über die entsprechenden Produkte reden, schreiben, berichten und Bilder veröffentlichen darf. Der genaue Wortlaut lautet:
“The Office for Mac 2011 beta is closed to the public, which means ALL Office 2011 tools and features are confidential and proprietary to Microsoft. By participating in the beta, you consent to a non-disclosure agreement which includes all forms of communication including print, broadcast, electronic, Internet publications, social media networking sites, blogs, and verbal disclosure. The NDA will not lift until the product is public later this year. We will update on timing closer to the date.”
Veröffentlicht wird Office 2011 im späteren Sommer zusammen mit den Programmen Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Messenger, Microsoft Communicator sowie Microsoft Ducument Connection.
